Dina Titus, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 1st district, has shared several updates on diverse matters ranging from personal celebrations to pressing international issues on April 11, 2025.

In a light-hearted tweet, Titus expressed joy in celebrating National Pet Day with a personal touch, stating, "I’ll never miss a chance to celebrate Tio! #NationalPetDay".

Switching to community engagement, Titus highlighted the participation of her team, Team Titus, in an important local event. On the same day, she noted "#TeamTitus attended the groundbreaking for the new Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada's Advocacy & Justice Complex. With this center, @LegalAidSNV will enhance their support for families, the elderly, and survivors of violent crime."

In a more serious discourse, Titus addressed international affairs by urging Secretary Rubio to consider actions against Azerbaijan. Her tweet read, "I am calling upon @SecRubio to consider Magnitsky sanctions to punish Azerbaijan’s injustices against Artsakh’s displaced Armenian population. I am committed to a U.S. policy that prioritizes accountability, justice, and security."

Dina Titus, who has been representing Nevada’s 1st District since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013, has also had a notable career in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. Born in 1950 in Thomasville, Georgia, she currently resides in Las Vegas. Titus is an alumna of the College of William & Mary, having graduated with a BA in 1970.
