Dina Titus, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Nevada’s 1st District since 2013, recently shared several statements on social media. These posts highlight concerns about student visa issues, support for LGBTQ+ spaces, and an observance of Gold Star Spouses Day.
In a post dated April 5, 2025, Dina Titus expressed concern over the revocation of student visas for four UNLV graduate students. She stated, "I am deeply concerned that four UNLV graduate students have had their student visas revoked, disrupting their educations. I will be seeking answers as to why from the proper authorities and monitoring this situation closely."
Later that day, Titus attended the reopening of a community space in support of LGBTQ+ rights. She noted, "It was a pleasure to attend the Grand Re-opening of @BentInnLV. It’s important to advocate for LGBTQ+ community spaces, especially during a time when LGBTQ+ rights are under attack."
Also on April 5, Titus marked Gold Star Spouses Day with a message paying tribute to the families of fallen service members. She stated, "On this #GoldStarSpousesDay, we honor the spouses and families of our brave fallen service members and recognize the sacrifices they’ve made to support our country."
