Dina Titus, serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 1st district, shared a series of tweets discussing critical issues on March 30, 2025. Titus, a congresswoman since 2013 and formerly a Nevada Senate member, expressed her concerns on policy as well as social matters.

In her first post, Titus criticized RFK Jr. for recent policy changes. She noted, "Not only is RFK Jr. cutting 10,000 staff members from @HHSgov and shuttering multiple departments @CDCgov, he also ended federal funding in Nevada for mental health services and public health. What happened to Making America Healthy Again?" This statement highlights her apprehension about the federal health policy's repercussions in Nevada.

On the same day, Titus extended her greetings to Islamic communities worldwide. She wrote, "After a month of fasting, Muslim communities today are gathering to observe the holiday Eid al-Fitr, 'the Festival of Breaking the Fast.' 'Eid Mubarak' to everyone around the world celebrating Eid al-Fitr!" The tweet signifies her respectful acknowledgment and celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

Later, Titus commented on the administration's international actions and their domestic repercussions. She asserted, "This administration's actions towards the rest of the world are having real impacts at home. We need to be welcoming visitors to our fantastic tourist destinations across the United States, not scaring them away." Her message underscores the potential adverse effects current policies might have on tourism and the economy.
