In one of her posts, Representative Titus emphasized the need for the Democratic Party to develop a strategy for the midterm elections. She stated, "The Democratic Party needs a #ContractforAmerica that reflects our core values to take back the House in 2026 and challenge @POTUS’s disastrous policies."
Later that day, Titus highlighted her active role in promoting women’s health rights through legislation. She tweeted, "I introduced legislation that protects women’s healthcare. The Expanding Access to Family Planning Act would increase funding for Title X, which supports family planning and preventative health services. By fully funding these services, we can protect women’s rights to access."
Concurrently, she announced a collaboration with Representative Brian Fitzpatrick. Titus tweeted, "Today @RepBrianFitz and I introduced bipartisan legislation that would subject bump stocks to the strictest of prohibitions. The Closing the Bump Stock Loophole Act would codify the bump stock ban into law. @Everytown @NewtownAction @bradybuzz @GIFFORDS_org."
