Congresswoman Dina Titus reflects on a week of engagement and events

Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st District since 2013, shared her week in Washington, D.C. with her social media audience on April 12, 2025. In a post, she appreciated various organizations and visitors from Nevada and beyond. Titus wrote, "What a week in DC! Thanks to our visitors: @CathCharitiesNV, @Chase Travel Group, @SNBTU1960, @ClarkCountySch, @CloseUp_DC, @CoralAcademyLV, @1001Coronado, the Canadian Parliamentary Internship Program, and the Nevada Bankers Association."

On the same day, Titus reached out to the Jewish community within her district, offering her holiday greetings. She posted, "Wishing our Jewish community #OnlyinDistrictOne a very meaningful #Passover."

Later that day, Titus shared her enthusiasm for a local cultural event. She stated, "#TeamTitus attended the launch of the traveling exhibition, The Rainforest Adventure @LVNHMuseum. I encourage everyone #OnlyinDistrictOne to check it out!"

Dina Titus, originally from Thomasville, Georgia, was born in 1950 and currently resides in Las Vegas. She completed her education at the College of William & Mary in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to her current role in Congress, she served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008, succeeding Shelley Berkley in the U.S. Congress in 2013.
