The Helldorado Days Parade is set to take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon in downtown Las Vegas. This annual event celebrates the city's diverse history and invites community participation. Applications for parade entries can be submitted online at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/Helldorado in both English and Spanish. The application process will close once all 100 entry spots are filled or by April 18, 2025.

This year introduces an opportunity for participants to earn Corporate Challenge points through parade entries and the Mayor’s Walk event for those registered in the 2025 Corporate Challenge.

The Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial is offering financial incentives for local school entries: $1,000 for marching bands and $1,500 for float entries, with a limit of two entries per school. Additionally, $1,000 will be awarded to local artists whose work reflects Las Vegas life and history. A committee will judge the parade entries with prizes including Best Casino Float and $500 each for the best marching band and best historic Las Vegas-themed float.

Parade participants are encouraged to represent various aspects of Las Vegas's founding as a railroad town in 1905, its growth over time, or its future direction. The event marks the upcoming 120th anniversary of the land auction that began Las Vegas's development on May 15, 1905. For further details about participating in the Helldorado Days Parade, interested parties can call 702.229.4859.
