Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada’s 1st district, shared a series of concerns on social media regarding recent federal policies and actions. Titus has served in Congress since 2013 and previously held a position in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008.

On April 13, 2025, Titus highlighted her apprehension about the budget passed by the House GOP, asserting that "federal assistance can help veterans afford a college education, a home, or the health care they deserve." She expressed concern that the budget "threatens these benefits, leaving veterans worse off." Original quotation

Later that day, April 13, 2025, Titus posted about efforts to undermine historical institutions, stating "with attacks on our museums, monuments, schools, and libraries, @POTUS is trying to erase key aspects of American history." Original quotation

On April 14, 2025, she criticized former President Donald Trump’s tariffs, suggesting they constitute "the largest tax on small businesses in modern history." She warned that "costs will rise; supplies will be delayed; and thousands of entrepreneurs will be forced to pass along costs, lay off workers, or shut their doors altogether." Original quotation

Titus, born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950, graduated with a BA from the College of William & Mary in 1970.
