The Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas running series will take place on February 22-23, 2025, in Las Vegas. This event will result in several road closures throughout the city.
On Saturday, February 22, a 5K race will begin at 5 p.m. in downtown Las Vegas at Fourth Street and Bridger Avenue, concluding on Fremont Street. The following day, Sunday, February 23, a 10K and half marathon are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. from New York-New York on The Strip.
Road closures for these events will commence around 8 a.m. on both days. On Saturday, roads are expected to reopen by 11 p.m., while on Sunday they will remain closed until no later than 2 a.m. Monday. Areas affected include downtown Las Vegas and The Strip, with specific closures at Tropicana, Flamingo, Spring Mountain, Sahara, and Charleston. Major downtown roads such as Fremont Street, Bridger Avenue, and Carson Avenue will also be impacted.
For those using public transportation during the event dates, RTC buses may experience disruptions; more details can be found on their website.
Roads are set to reopen progressively after each race ends between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m., but changes may occur; updates can be followed via LVMPD's Twitter account.
