On December 12, Dina Titus announced the groundbreaking of an expansion project for the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas. She stated that "#TeamTitus helped break ground on @CulinaryLV’s expansion. The renovation will allow the academy to train more of our critical hospitality workforce."
Later that day, Titus commended MGM Resorts International for their efforts in promoting responsible gaming practices. She noted that "It’s great to see @MGMResportsIntl set the gold standard for responsible gaming. They’ve trained 1,000+ employees to detect signs of problem gambling and ensure guests know and utilize best practices."
On December 13, Titus addressed a pressing public health concern related to extreme heat conditions in Clark County. She emphasized her ongoing legislative efforts by stating "In 2024 @ClarkCountyNV reported almost 500 heat-related deaths. I’m continuing to fight for my bill to classify extreme heat as a natural disaster with @fema and provide communities with more resources to keep people safe."
