Dina Titus, currently serving as a U.S. Congress representative for Nevada's 1st district, has recently shared her thoughts and legislative activities via social media. Titus, who has been in Congress since 2013 and formerly served in the Nevada Senate, discussed issues ranging from international security to domestic legislative support and law enforcement.
On March 26, 2025, Titus expressed her experience in discussions with Members of Parliaments from across the hemisphere. She emphasized the importance of collaboration over conflict by stating, "It was a pleasure to join Members of Parliaments from around the hemisphere to discuss the security issues facing us all. At a time when there is no shortage of challenges, we should collaborate on solving problems, not threatening invasions or tariffs."
On March 27, 2025, Titus highlighted the advancement of her Special Events Program and Support Act by the Homeland Democratics committee, aimed at providing federal assistance to states during large-scale events. She announced, "Yesterday the @HomelandDems advanced my Special Events Program and Support Act to ensure states and localities receive assistance from the federal government during large-scale events like the Super Bowl and Formula 1, keeping attendees safe."
Additionally, on the same day, Titus addressed the ongoing political controversies involving Trump and Musk, criticizing the lack of response from the opposition party. She noted, "Democrats have supported more than 110 cases against Trump’s and Musk’s illegal actions. All we’ve heard is crickets from the Republicans, the supposed “party of law and order.”"
