Dina Titus, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, recently expressed her views on various issues through a series of tweets. The tweets address matters related to national parks, national monuments, and public education policies under former President Donald Trump.

On March 24, 2025, Dina Titus commented on staffing changes within the National Park Service. She noted that "Trump and Musk cut approximately 1,000 @NatlParkService employees, including staff at @lakemeadnps." Titus expressed satisfaction in welcoming back these workers who are vital for protecting public lands and ensuring their enjoyment by future generations. "I’m happy to welcome back today these dedicated workers who protect our public lands and ensure they can be enjoyed by visitors in future generations."

Later that day, Titus addressed efforts to preserve national monuments she helped establish. In her tweet posted at 22:29 UTC, she stated: "I’m proud to have led efforts to establish multiple national monuments, including #AviKwaAme, #GoldButte, and #BasinandRange." She criticized Trump's actions as attempts to dismantle these culturally and ecologically significant areas.

In another tweet from March 24 at 23:33 UTC, Titus highlighted her opposition to Trump's plans concerning the Department of Education. She wrote: "Trump’s plan to dismantle @usedgov is a direct attack on our schools and educators." To counter this initiative, she proposed an amendment aimed at nullifying Trump's executive order to ensure adequate resources for students.
