Downtown Las Vegas offers more than its iconic neon lights and vintage atmosphere. It has become a family-friendly destination with various activities for all ages. A day spent exploring this area can be both adventurous and educational.

Start the day at PublicUs, a café near Fremont Street, offering kid-friendly breakfast options in a spacious setting. For younger children, the Discovery Children’s Museum is an essential stop. The museum features three levels of interactive exhibits, including a water world and "The Summit" climbing area. Families are advised to wear comfortable shoes and allocate several hours for this visit.

For older children, Axehole on Fremont Street provides activities like axe throwing and knife tossing under parental supervision.

Lunch can be enjoyed at Pizza Rock, known for its lively ambiance and large pizza slices that appeal to both kids and adults.

After lunch, take a walk around Fremont East to view vibrant murals and restored neon signs before heading to Downtown Container Park. This unique shopping and dining venue constructed from shipping containers includes a giant treehouse playground and an interactive sculpture that safely breathes fire at night.

In the heart of the Fremont Street Experience lies SlotZilla, a zip line designed like a slot machine that allows riders to glide above the crowd. Riders must weigh at least 50 pounds, depending on the chosen line, with those under 13 requiring accompaniment by someone older.

Dinner can be found at Nacho Daddy near Fremont Street, which serves gourmet nachos alongside award-winning margaritas. Adventurous diners might try their original scorpion shot.

Conclude the day with the Viva Vision light show under the Fremont Street Experience canopy. The show runs hourly each night on a 1,375-foot-long screen displaying colorful visuals set to music—a memorable experience for children.

Most attractions offer nearby parking or are within walking distance. Visitors are encouraged to use Spot Angels to find parking options in advance.

Downtown Las Vegas caters to both locals looking to rediscover their city and visitors seeking family-friendly entertainment options.
