Dina Titus, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, recently shared her views on government efficiency and staffing in national parks through a series of tweets. Titus has been vocal about her concerns regarding the Trump Administration's actions affecting essential workers and national park services.

On March 16, 2025, Dina Titus expressed her disapproval of certain governmental measures by stating, "Firing our essential workers is not how you make our government more efficient."

Later that day, she highlighted issues faced by the National Parks due to staffing cuts. She noted that despite having a record number of visitors in 2024, necessary staff were let go. Her tweet read: "The National Parks had a record 331 million visitors in 2024. Instead of hiring more staff to meet demand, the Trump Administration fired essential @NatlParkService employees at locations like @lakemeadnps and @GreatBasinNPS."

In another tweet dated March 17, 2025, Titus invited constituents to join her for an upcoming town hall meeting to discuss these issues further. She wrote: "Join me this Thursday for a town hall to discuss the impact of Republicans' actions #OnlyInDistrictOne and my work to fight back." The post included an RSVP link for those interested in attending.
