Dina Titus, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, has shared her thoughts on several key issues via Twitter. Her recent tweets address topics ranging from leadership at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) to national voting rights and economic policies.

On March 5, 2025, Dina Titus expressed gratitude towards former UNLV President Keith Whitfield for his leadership during challenging times. She noted that Whitfield "led the university through a pandemic; helped the community recover from a tragic shooting; and worked to increase @unlv’s standing as a world-class research institution." Titus concluded by wishing him and his family well in their future endeavors. "Former @unlv_president Keith Whitfield led the university through a pandemic; helped the community recover from a tragic shooting; and worked to increase @unlv’s standing as a world-class research institution. I am grateful for his service and wish him and his family the best."

Later that day, Titus addressed legislative efforts concerning voting rights. She criticized Republican attempts to implement restrictive voting laws and announced that "@HouseDemocrats reintroduced the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect voting rights and ensure every citizen’s voice is heard." This act aims to safeguard democratic processes across the United States. "Republicans are attacking our democracy by trying to pass restrictive voting laws. Today @HouseDemocrats reintroduced the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect voting rights and ensure every citizen’s voice is heard."

In another tweet on March 5, Titus commented on economic policies under former President Trump. She highlighted the financial impact of tariffs imposed during Trump's administration, stating that these tariffs "will cost the average American family $1,600-$2,000 a year," which she described as more than just "a little disturbance," but rather "a disaster." "Trump’s tariffs will cost the average American family $1,600-$2,000 a year. That is not a 'little disturbance.' That’s a disaster."
