Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, recently shared her perspectives on various political developments via social media. Her statements address issues related to public health infrastructure, proposed budget cuts by House Republicans, and the confirmation of a new FBI director.

On February 21, 2025, Titus highlighted her participation in an event with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) regarding the expansion of their public health laboratory. She emphasized the importance of investing in public health infrastructure for community safety and life-saving purposes. "TeamTitus joined @SNHDinfo to break ground on their public health laboratory expansion. We must continue investing in Southern Nevada’s public health infrastructure to safeguard our community and save lives."

Later that day, Titus expressed concerns over an impending vote forced by House Republicans on a budget plan she describes as extreme. This plan proposes significant reductions in funding for education and workforce programs amounting to $330 billion, affecting student loan subsidies, retirement benefits, Pell grants, and school lunches. "Next week House Republicans will force a vote on their extreme budget plan which slashes education and workforce programs by $330 BILLION. That includes cuts to student loan subsidies, retirement benefits, Pell grants, and school lunches."

In another post from February 21, 2025, Titus conveyed her frustration with Republican Senate colleagues for confirming Kash Patel as FBI director despite numerous concerns she believes were evident during the process. She criticized what she sees as senators' loyalty to former President Trump taking precedence over adherence to the rule of law. "I’m frustrated but not surprised my Republican Senate colleagues disregarded @Kash_Patel’s parade of red flags to confirm him as @FBI director. The Senators demonstrated their loyalty to Trump far outweighs their concern about the rule of law."
