Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, has been vocal on several pressing issues through her social media presence. Born in Thomasville, Georgia, and currently residing in Las Vegas, Titus has consistently used her platform to address matters concerning public institutions and environmental policies.

On February 20, 2025, Dina Titus expressed concerns regarding former President Trump's influence over the Kennedy Center's finances. She stated that "At best, Trump’s takeover could devastate @kencen's finances. At worst, he could destroy the institution or use it to spread propaganda."

Later that day, she highlighted her leadership role in opposing attacks on public lands by Secretary Burgum. In her tweet at 20:38:09 UTC, she noted "ICYMI: I led our delegation in condemning @SecretaryBurgum’s attacks on our public lands."

Titus also addressed the impact of Trump's actions on national parks in another tweet posted at 22:16:30 UTC. She remarked that "Trump’s firings are impacting the @NatlParkService, including 20% of @GreatBasinNPS staff. He is hurting our parks’ ability to welcome visitors and putting the tourism and outdoor recreation industries at risk."
