Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, recently expressed her views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Titus has been vocal about her stance on democracy, climate policy, and taxation in the sports betting industry.

On February 18, 2025, Dina Titus shared her perspective on the role of citizens in safeguarding democracy. She stated, "The power of people is stronger than any office. If our president won’t protect our democracy and fight for freedom and equality, then we will."

Later that day, Titus criticized former President Trump's environmental policies. In a tweet posted at 16:56 UTC on February 18, she remarked on the detrimental impact of these policies by stating, "Trump’s cuts to climate and clean energy projects and his attacks on @fema and @NOAA are a lethal combination."

In another tweet posted at 20:50 UTC the same day, Titus announced her legislative efforts concerning sports betting taxes. She declared her intention to reform outdated taxation laws with this statement: "I reintroduced legislation to eliminate the outdated tax on legal sports betting. The tax was put in place in 1951 to help prosecute illegal bookies who did not pay taxes. Today it only helps illegal operators attract more customers."
