Later that day, she drew historical parallels between past U.S. presidents and former President Donald Trump. In her tweet posted on February 17, 2025, she remarked, "Lincoln ended slavery; FDR led us through the Great Depression; and LBJ expanded civil rights. Then there’s Trump — a convicted felon who undermines our democracy and uses his power to enrich himself and his billionaire friends."
In another post from February 17, 2025, Titus highlighted her legislative work alongside Representative Chuck Edwards by reintroducing a bill aimed at improving disaster recovery efforts for communities affected by natural disasters. She tweeted, "The Disaster Survivors Fairness Act I reintroduced with @RepChuckEdwards would make it easier for communities to rebuild after natural disasters."
