Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, recently shared several updates on her Twitter account. Her posts cover legislative efforts, community events, and personal encounters.

On February 15, 2025, Titus expressed her support for the Downwinders Parity Act. She emphasized the importance of ensuring compensation for victims of radiation exposure in Clark County. "I am supporting the Downwinders Parity Act to ensure the victims of cancer-causing radiation from nuclear fallout in @ClarkCountyNV receive the compensation they are owed."

Later that day, Titus participated in a local event celebrating Black History Month. She joined Springs Preserve’s festival to honor African American contributions to Southern Nevada through music, dance performances, and food. "Happy Black History Month! I joined @SpringsPreserve’s BHM Festival to celebrate African Americans’ contributions to Southern Nevada with amazing music, dance performances, and food."

On February 16, she recounted meeting Roy Hart at the same festival. Hart is a former Raiders player who shares Titus's hometown of Tifton, Georgia. "I met former @Raiders player Roy Hart at the @SpringsPreserve BHM Festival. Did you know he grew up in my hometown of Tifton, Georgia? Small world!"
