Nominations are now open for the 2025 Compassionate City Awards, a joint initiative by the city of Las Vegas and the Compassionate Las Vegas Network. These awards aim to honor individuals who have made significant contributions in various community-focused categories, including education, environmental sustainability and climate resilience, health and wellness, housing security, human trafficking reduction, restorative justice, and strengthening the family.

Community members are invited to nominate individuals who demonstrate compassion within these areas. The nominations will be evaluated based on innovation, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as the nominee's impact and collaborative efforts. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, March 28, 2025.

The winners will be announced at a public awards ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025. The event will take place at Las Vegas City Hall located at 495 S. Main St.
