The city of Las Vegas has announced several new opportunities for qualified firms and individuals to submit proposals and bids across various projects. These initiatives aim to enhance business, real estate development, public infrastructure, and community services.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) is open until April 4, 2024, for strategic communications, public relations, and marketing services aimed at promoting business and real estate development in the city's redevelopment areas. The project budget ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually.
Additionally, the city invites bids for Harley Davidson Pan America motorcycles with a closing date of April 10, 2024. Artists are also encouraged to submit Statements of Qualifications by April 15, 2024. This call seeks original two-dimensional artworks for the new Downtown Civic Center Building under construction at Bonneville Avenue and Main Street.
For those interested in infrastructure improvements, there are several bidding opportunities available. Bids are being accepted until April 16, 2024, for Water Pollution Control Facility Process Air Improvements Phase 2. This project involves significant upgrades including demolition work and installation of new equipment.
Traffic signal construction at Elkhorn/Bradley intersection and a roundabout at Deer Springs/Bradley intersection are open for bids until April 17, 2024. Other projects include the construction of a restroom building at Floyd Lamb Park Haybarn with a deadline of April 18; HVAC upgrades at Las Vegas Natural History Museum due by April 24; and LED upgrades to Doolittle Community Center multipurpose rooms with submissions closing on April 25.

Furthermore, an RFP remains open until February 28, 2025. It seeks proposals from qualified individuals or firms interested in serving as Public Attorneys for indigent defendants in Department 2 at the Las Vegas Municipal Courthouse.
