Pickleball is rapidly gaining popularity in Las Vegas, leading to a high demand for court space. The city currently offers 25 courts, which are frequently occupied. In response, a new regional pickleball complex is planned for Wayne Bunker Park in Ward 4.

The upcoming facility will feature an additional 25 pickleball courts, effectively doubling the available playing areas within the city. Plans also include bleachers and two center courts with extra seating. Additional amenities such as shade structures, lighting, restrooms, concession stands, and new parking lots are part of the project.

Construction of this facility is set to begin in 2025 and will be located in the park's southwest corner.

Currently, Las Vegas has pickleball courts distributed across several parks: two at Centennial Hills Park; seven at Durango Hills Park; four each at Police Memorial Park, Bill Briare Park, Justice Myron Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park; and Aloha Shores Park.
