The new program, which officially launched March 7, 2023, provides financial assistance for securing businesses by adding fencing, security cameras, lighting, gates and other security measures.

While the application process time frame is open-ended, there is a total cap of $1 million for the program. Grants are being awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and applicants will be notified of the status of their application within 30 days of submission.
