Las Vegas officials recently announced that America's Party would return to the Strip to help ring in the new year, according to a KTNV report.
America's Party, which was announced on Dec 9, will be co-produced by Fireworks by Grucci, a U.S. fireworks company based in Bellport, New York, according to the event's official website.
"Are you ready to ring in 2022! America’s Party is coming to Las Vegas with fireworks and entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip and @FSELV," Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman announced on Twitter.
Fletch Brunelle, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority's vice president of marketing; Pat Christenson, president of Las Vegas Events; Scott Cooper of Fireworks by Grucci; Clark County Commission Vice Chairman Jim Gibson; and Goodman discussed the city's New Year's Eve celebration plans during a press conference Dec. 16.
The event will include an eight-minute pyrotechnic show inspired by this year's theme, Deuces Wild.
At midnight on Jan. 1, fireworks will be launched from the roofs of eight resorts along the Strip, including venues in Clark County and the city of Las Vegas.
These venues include MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Resorts World Las Vegas and The STRAT.
