Dina Titus, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 1st district, shared her views and gratitude through a series of tweets on March 7, 2025. Titus has been serving in Congress since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013 and has a long-standing history of public service, including her tenure in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008.

In one tweet posted on March 7, Titus reflected on the historical significance of Bloody Sunday in Selma, led by the late John Lewis. She emphasized the importance of honoring their legacy by supporting legislative efforts: "600 marchers led by the late John Lewis risked everything to fight for their right to vote on Bloody Sunday in Selma. This anniversary, let's honor their legacy by passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act which @HouseDemocrats introduced this week."

Titus also expressed her appreciation for visitors from Washington, DC. On March 7, she tweeted: "Thank you to our Washington, DC visitors this week: @pffnevada, @cityofhenderson, @MRomeroNV, @NVBroadcasters, @nvartscouncil, @BGCA_Clubs of Southern Nevada, @NVHumanities, @CANVleagues, @NACoTweets, and @lvchamber."

Additionally, Titus addressed concerns regarding labor protections for TSA agents under the Trump Administration. In her tweet from March 7: "The Trump Administration is attempting to strip @TSA agents of the labor protections they earned. This Admin continues to prove they do not care about the dedicated workers who keep people safe."
