Dina Titus, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, has been vocal on various issues through her social media platform. Born in Thomasville, Georgia, and currently residing in Las Vegas, Titus has served both in the U.S. Congress and the Nevada Senate. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William & Mary.
On March 5, 2025, Dina Titus expressed her commitment to workers' rights by joining colleagues to reintroduce the PRO Act. She stated "I will always stand up for our workers’ rights. Today I joined my colleagues in reintroducing the #PROAct to support workers fighting for better wages, benefits, and working conditions."
Later that day, she commented on regulatory actions against Kalshi following her public remarks about event contracts. Titus noted "Following my public comment highlighting the issues event contracts pose, @NevadaGCB issued a cease-and-desist order against Kalshi. I strongly support any state that wants to follow Nevada's lead and defend its right to regulate and tax gaming."
On March 6, 2025, Titus criticized Elon Musk's influence over federal agencies via Twitter: "Wake up, Doug. Every time Elon Musk infiltrates a federal agency, he lays off essential workers and disrupts services. Do not let them do the same @DeptVetAffairs!"
