Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, has shared her views on various political issues through a series of tweets. These posts highlight her stance on former President Donald Trump's actions, the House Republicans' budget plan, and her support for the TIPS Act.
On February 13, 2025, Titus expressed criticism towards former President Donald Trump, noting that "Trump had time to launch a hostile takeover of the @kencenter and outlaw paper straws but hasn’t done a thing to lower costs for families."
In another tweet on the same day, Titus addressed concerns regarding Medicaid funding. She stated that the "House Republicans’ budget plan: Cut up to $2.5 trillion in Medicaid funding to pay for billionaire tax breaks. More than 647,000 Nevadans receive health care through Medicaid, including almost 40% of children."
Later that day, Titus advocated for working families by promoting legislative measures such as the TIPS Act. She emphasized that "Working families need our help. We must pass the TIPS Act to end taxes on tips and the subminimum wage while preventing billionaires from abusing the rule to avoid paying their fair share."
