Dina Titus, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, has recently expressed her views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. Titus, who is also the Co-Chair of the Cannabis Caucus, addressed the challenges faced by the legal cannabis industry and commented on matters of foreign aid and local firefighting efforts.

On January 24, 2025, Dina Titus emphasized the need to support the legal cannabis industry in its competition against the black market. She stated: "We need to help the legal cannabis industry compete with the black market. As Co-Chair of the Cannabis Caucus, I called on @WaysMeansCmte to support cannabis operators by allowing them to access the same tax deductions available to other legitimate businesses."

Later that day, Titus criticized a recent decision concerning foreign aid. On January 24, 2025, she described it as "extremely irresponsible," adding that "Foreign aid is one of the most powerful tools we have to further U.S. interests abroad and support our allies."

In another tweet dated January 25, 2025, Dina Titus expressed gratitude towards firefighters returning home safely after their service in California. She tweeted: "Our brave firefighters have returned home safely. We are so grateful for your service to our CA neighbors."
