Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, recently shared her views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Titus has been an active voice in politics, previously serving in the Nevada Senate and having a background in education from the College of William & Mary.

On January 22, 2025, Titus reflected on what would have been the 52nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade. She expressed her ongoing commitment to advocating for women's reproductive rights, stating: "Today we should have been celebrating the 52nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade. I will continue fighting to restore a woman’s right to choose what’s best for her health, family, and future."

Later that day, she mentioned her involvement with cannabis legislation as a new co-chair of the Cannabis Caucus. In her tweet posted at 19:30 UTC, she invited followers to listen to her discussion with KNPR news about her priorities in this role: "I spoke with @KNPRnews about my priorities as a new Cannabis Caucus Co-Chair. Listen in."

In another post on January 22, Titus addressed gun violence following an incident at a Nashville school where two students were shot by a classmate. This event occurred shortly after former President Donald Trump shut down the Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Titus criticized Republican responses and called for legislative action: "Two students were shot by a classmate at a school in Nashville today... Republicans’ 'thoughts and prayers' count for nothing. We need gun safety legislation."
