The city of Las Vegas has announced it will accept and review new location requests for news racks within its jurisdiction until January 20, 2025. Interested parties have until 5 p.m. on that date to submit their applications.
Applications can be obtained at the city's Transportation Engineering Division located on the fifth floor of City Hall, 495 S. Main St. Alternatively, applicants can call either 702.229.6327 or 702.229.6908 to request forms. Only forms approved by the city’s Transportation Engineering Division will be considered for review.
Incomplete applications, those not submitted on approved forms, or those turned in after the deadline will not be considered.
For inquiries regarding business license information, individuals are encouraged to call 702.229.6281. An unofficial version of the News Rack Ordinance 13.24 is available online for reference.
