Dina Titus, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st district since 2013, recently shared updates on various legislative and policy matters through her social media platform. Her posts reflect ongoing efforts to address water allocation, support Afghan allies, and enhance worker safety.

On November 20, 2024, Dina Titus commented on the announcement by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation regarding future Colorado River Basin operating guidelines. She stated, "Today the @usbr announced the options they’ll consider for Colorado River Basin operating guidelines post-2026. As this process continues, I’ll be watching closely and working to ensure NV’s water allocation is protected."

Later that day, she reported progress on a legislative initiative concerning Afghan allies. Titus expressed her satisfaction with the House's passage of the CARE Authorization Act, saying "UPDATE: The CARE Authorization Act passed the House. I’m proud to have led this bill to ensure we can bring to safety eligible Afghan allies who helped the U.S. as they face continued Taliban threats."

On November 21, 2024, Titus addressed workplace safety measures in Nevada related to extreme heat conditions. She noted her approval of actions taken by NV OSHA and advocated for further resources through proposed legislation: "I'm glad NV OSHA is taking action to protect workers from extreme heat. Now we need to pass my bill to give our communities more resources like cooling centers to keep people safe."
