The Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial has announced funding for the seventh installment of the documentary series, "The City of Las Vegas." This segment will explore life in Las Vegas during the 1970s. The project seeks individuals who can share their experiences from that era, particularly those from underrepresented communities who worked downtown.

"We are looking for individuals to interview who can share recollections of life in Las Vegas during the 1970s," states the commission's call for participants. They are also interested in including personal photos in the film.

Those willing to contribute are encouraged to send their contact information to lvhistoryfilms@gmail.com. The film producers will follow up with respondents.
