Las Vegas is renowned for its entertainment, neon lights, and gambling. However, the city offers a variety of other attractions catering to diverse interests.

The Gateway Arches and Showgirls area near The STRAT Hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard welcomes tourists with 80-foot-tall arches and showgirl statues. This location is popular for social media content creation.

The Fremont East District features numerous bars, clubs, restaurants, and the Fremont Street Experience. Iconic neon signs like the big red shoe and Oscar's martini glass greet visitors here.

Downtown Container Park in the same district offers an open-air space with stores, restaurants, and bars made from repurposed shipping containers. It includes live entertainment and a playground for children.

For those interested in history, the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park provides insights into the first non-native settlement in Las Vegas. The park features remains of an adobe fort built by Mormon missionaries in 1855.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located 17 miles west of the Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. It offers hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, biking paths, picnic areas, nature observation opportunities, and a scenic drive.

Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is a 680-acre oasis featuring wildlife, lush vegetation, lakes, views of mountain ranges, and historical insights into early Las Vegas life. The park also offers rental spaces for events.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Springs Preserve showcases trails, a Botanical Garden, an Open-Air Amphitheater, train rides, and more. It is considered Las Vegas's birthplace due to its historical significance as a water source for early inhabitants.

Lone Mountain north of the Strip provides hiking opportunities with rugged trails leading to panoramic city views from its summit. For those who prefer staying closer to ground level, there are walking or running trails around the mountain.

These landmarks illustrate that beyond its well-known attractions; Las Vegas has much more to offer visitors seeking varied experiences.
