Dina Titus, a current U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 1st district, has recently taken to social media to express her concerns and achievements in housing and economic policy. Her recent posts highlight efforts in legislation and critique opposing political strategies.

On December 5, 2024, Titus expressed concern over private investors purchasing significant quantities of Las Vegas homes. She stated: "Private investors purchased more than $1B of Las Vegas’s homes last quarter. I’m working to pass legislation to stop hedge funds from buying up homes and driving up prices. Investors shouldn’t be profiting off our hardworking families."

The following day, on December 6, 2024, Titus announced the approval of funding for a local project focused on affordable housing solutions: "Glad to see final funding approved for Tropicana Trails #OnlyInDistrictOne. The project shows what's possible when government, the private sector, and nonprofits like @nv_housing and @helpsonv work together on affordable housing solutions."

Later that same day, she criticized the Republican party's proposed plans concerning food assistance programs and tax policies: "Republicans’ 100-day plan: Limiting food assistance programs, cutting Medicaid, and giving tax breaks to millionaires. Their agenda won’t do anything to lower prices or make life better for working class families."
