In response to the devastating fires that have impacted parts of Los Angeles, Las Vegas has mobilized to offer support to its neighboring community. Various businesses and organizations in Las Vegas are contributing through donations, services, and special events.
Dog & Whistle, a pet food company with a cafe in Fergusons Downtown, is providing care packages for pets in need in Los Angeles. They can be contacted via direct message for coordination.
Good Pie is contributing by donating 15 percent of proceeds from sales of "The Good Hot" pizza at their Arts District and Henderson locations to California fire victims through the Slice Out Hunger charity program.
Lion Habitat Ranch in Henderson is collecting donations such as pet food and blankets for animals affected by the wildfires. Donations can be brought to the ranch until Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Majestic Repertory Theatre will hold a special one-night-only production of their hit show “Scream’d” on January 22 at 8 p.m., with proceeds supporting entertainment workers affected by the fires.
Metro Pizza will donate 15 percent of all Tavern Pizza sales proceeds across their valley locations towards relief efforts in Los Angeles until February 5.
Rachel’s Kitchen is organizing support efforts at all their valley locations for delivery to LA fire victims on January 15.

Several hotels are offering accommodations at discounted rates for those affected by the fires. Primm Valley Casino Resorts provides rooms for $29 per night through January 31 with free stays for pets. Treasure Island Las Vegas Hotel offers rooms at $79 per night through January 31. Virgin Hotels Las Vegas gives a 50 percent discount with free parking and special rates for dogs until February 3. Resorts World Las Vegas offers a 35 percent discount, while MGM Resorts extends a similar discount along with flexible cancellations due to travel impacts caused by the fires.
