Moms for Liberty has endorsed Lorena Biassotti in her race for a seat on the Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of Trustees, representing District E. Early voting will take place from October 19 through November 1 for the November 5 general election.

Biassotti's "goal is to provide our youth with the highest quality education, equipping them for a bright and prosperous future," according to her mission statement posted on her campaign website. "By keeping parents actively involved and unnecessary politics out of our schools, I aim to create a safe and nurturing environment for all children."

In a June interview on "The Yadusha Show," Biassotti highlighted teacher retention as a major issue facing CCSD, saying she would work to empower teachers to raise concerns about curricula that they feel is less about education and more about indoctrination. Biassotti also said that she would work to put a focus back on disciplining students who are disruptive or violent; currently, according to Biassotti, lax disciplinary policies have led teachers to feel threatened and fear for their safety.

"There's no educational value to it," Biassotti said on her opposition to radical gender ideology in schools. "If you want to address gender dysphoria or any type of mental health concerns, I think bringing the parents in — a referral process — you can address the problem without having to change up the whole curriculum and start giving lessons out to our students where they're being told they have to affirm whatever gender ideology or gender expression any given student has."

Biassotti founded a group, My Children's Advocate, to fight social justice agendas in school curricula, restore patriotism in education, and encourage academic success. Issues with which the group is primarily concerned are mask mandates, Critical Race Theory, and radical LGBTQ ideology.

As Nevada Current reported, Biassotti left the workforce to become a stay-at-home mom to her four children, two of whom are in CCSD high schools and two of whom attend a private school. She said that being a stay-at-home mom  afforded her more opportunities to familiarize herself with her children's curricula, and it was then that she became more aware of public school policies that went against her beliefs.

According to the CCSD Board of Trustees website, the Board comprises seven voting members and four non-voting members. Per the Clark County 2024 election candidates list, in the upcoming general election, there are four four-year voting positions available on the Board. Elections are nonpartisan.

Moms for Liberty is a parental-rights-in-education advocacy group founded by Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich, two former school board members. According to their website, "Moms for Liberty is dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government."
