7.7% of citizens unemployed in Clark County in 2021

Clark County recorded an unemployment rate of 7.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 87,046 people out of the 2,231,147 living in Clark County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Clark County has increased compared to the 6.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Clark County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 7.1%.

Of the 1,044,327 people who had a job during that time, 8,246 were employed in the Armed Forces and 1,036,081 belonged to the civilian labor force.
