Cost of college went up for all students at Arizona College-Las Vegas

Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2018-19 at Arizona College-Las Vegas, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Nevada students paid $19,764 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $419 more than the $19,345 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 25 students received grants or scholarships totaling $80,300 and 25 students took out student loans totaling more than $70,998.

Including all undergraduates (500), 161 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 161 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
