Two Ccsd Schools Honored As Purple Star Schools

Congratulations to Clark County School District’s Raul P. Elizondo Elementary School and Mojave High School on their Purple Star designations by the Nevada Department of Education (NDE). Schools that receive this prestigious honor are recognized for their commitment to supporting the unique educational and social-emotional needs of military-connected children.

NDE announced the honorees in November to help celebrate the Month of the Military Family. These schools will receive a certificate and banner to signal their support in the educational transitions of military students and families. Nevada is home to nearly 11,000 military-connected children.
