Detectives from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) have identified and arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in December 2025. According to police, 23-year-old Ethan Robinson was taken into custody by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Fugitive Task Force on March 3, 2026, in Los Angeles, California. Robinson is currently being held at the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center and awaits extradition to Las Vegas to face charges of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon.
The original incident took place on December 21, 2025, around 3:15 a.m., when LVMPD Communications received a report of a male who had been stabbed at an apartment located in the 300 block of East Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Responding officers found a man inside the apartment suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and initiated an investigation that remains ongoing. “Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify 23-year-old Ethan Robinson as a suspect in this case. On March 3, 2026, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Fugitive Task Force took Robinson into custody in Los Angeles, CA. He was booked into the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Las Vegas, NV for Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon,” stated police officials.
Authorities have not yet released information about the identity of the victim or further details regarding cause and manner of death; these can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
