Las Vegas hosted Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium in February, becoming the 16th city to hold the NFL's premier event. The game attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors and millions of TV viewers, showcasing Las Vegas as a leading sports destination.

In the week before the Super Bowl, over 300 events took place, including NFL-sponsored activities and watch parties. Opening night saw 24,000 fans attend a public media day where players from both teams answered questions. The NFL's Super Bowl Experience allowed visitors to participate in interactive games and meet current and former players. Live music performances and gourmet cuisine were also featured throughout the week.

An estimated 330,000 visitors arrived in Southern Nevada for the festivities, with 62,000 attending the game itself. Harry Reid International Airport recorded nearly 104,000 passengers on the Monday following the game—a single-day record for screenings by the Transportation Security Administration.

The Super Bowl drew an average of 123.4 million viewers globally, with increasing viewership in markets like Mexico and China. The event generated five billion impressions through 14,000 news stories. Organizations such as the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) used this platform to attract businesses to Las Vegas. LOCATE Las Vegas hosted executives to promote corporate relocation and development opportunities.

Pre-event projections anticipated a $799 million net economic impact for Las Vegas from visitor spending and its ripple effects, along with $62 million in state and local taxes. Preliminary findings suggest that these expectations were exceeded.

Nevada sportsbooks reported a record-breaking handle of $185.6 million bet on the game. Hosting requirements included ample hotel accommodations and facilities for NFL personnel—criteria that Las Vegas met successfully.
