Wold paced the Scarlet & Gray offensively this season in nearly every offensive category. The junior from Henderson (Basic Academy), started all 27 conference games, with 16 starts at first base, seven as the designated hitter and four in right field. He posted a team-high .414 batting average with 48 hits, 35 RBI and 29 runs. More impressively, half of his hit haul went for extra bases, with 12 home runs, 11 doubles and one triple, and resulted in 97 total bases and a .836 slugging percentage. He also was tops in multiple-hit games (15) and multiple-RBI games (nine). Additionally, his 15 walks helped him register a .477 on-base percentage. Defensively, he recorded a .992 fielding percentage with only one error in a total of 130 chances (119 putouts and 10 assists).
Brooks was limited to 21 conference games; however, the redshirt junior from Corona, California, made 19 starts at shortstop and two as the designated hitter. He led the squad with a .521 on-base percentage, which was bolstered by his 29 hits and a team-best 17 walks and three hit-by-pitches. He also had nine multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI games.
Denson saw action in 25 conference games, making 24 starts with 17 of those in right field and seven as the designated hitter. He only committed one error defensively in 34 chances for a .971 fielding percentage.
Williams, who shared MW Freshman of the Year honors in 2019, made 24 starts at second base in league play. The Las Vegas native (Rancho HS) batted .370 with 37 hits, 22 runs and 19 RBI. Nine of his base hits went for extra bases, with four home runs, four doubles and one triple, which resulted in 55 total bases and a .550 slugging percentage. He also notched five walks for a .396 on-base percentage, and had two stolen bases. He added 11 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games.
Spooner made nine starts in conference play and went 5-2 with a 4.28 ERA in 48.1 innings on the mound. The senior from Lake Forest, California, struck out a total of 48 batters, with a minimum of four strikeouts in eight of those contests. He allowed 23 earned runs (30 runs) off 58 hits and 15 walks. Delving deeper, he limited the opposition to two or fewer earned runs and walks in six outings.
