The Trump campaign is challenging the election in Nevada after alleging 15,000 voters voted in two states.
Former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt is helming the campaign’s efforts in Nevada.
“What we are providing today in this lawsuit is that many of these votes were improperly cast,” Laxalt said in a press conference today. “We are presenting today in our formal contest that there are north of 15,000 people who voted in Nevada and another state.
Laxalt said the issue involved those who had voted but still mailed in a ballot.
“People that have already done a change of address and left the state outside of the 30-day requirement, their ballots were still cast,” Laxalt said. “We are also presenting dead voters.”
Clark County records also show non-citizens have voted in past elections.
This year, Clark County elections chief Joe Gloria said at least one race’s outcome was in doubt due to “voter irregularities” that are unexplained.
