Nevada state treasurer candidate Drew Johnson expressed his gratitude for the support of the Douglas County Republican Women and welcomed the installation of the club’s new officers in anticipation of the 2026 election year.

According to Johnson, he spoke at a Douglas County Republican Women event recognizing newly installed officers for 2026. The organization is described as a significant grassroots force in Northern Nevada, supporting conservative candidates and voter engagement efforts statewide.
Douglas County is noted as one of Nevada’s most Republican-leaning regions, with voter turnout reportedly exceeding 80 percent in recent elections. Local GOP women’s clubs are said to play a crucial role in campaign organization, candidate support, and voter outreach.
The Nevada Republican Party is continuing its efforts to expand its grassroots network ahead of the 2026 election. The party emphasizes community organizing and candidate engagement through county-level affiliates and women’s leadership groups.
