On Sunday, March 23, former Shadow Ridge High School standout Abby Covington’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The game took place at Mountain Lion Field. This was their third matchup against the Mavericks this season.
