On Saturday, March 15, former Palo Verde High School standout Karthik Gondy’s current college team, the Case Western Reserve Spartans, lost 10-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Marietta Pioneers.

The game took place at Don and Sue Schaly Field at Pioneer Park. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m. at Schweickert Field against John Carroll Blue Streaks.
