The Green Our Planet’s Giant Student Farmers Market is scheduled on Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center: 500 South Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas.

Billed as the largest student market in the U.S., the event will feature more than 500 students from 50+ schools in Southern Nevada, students run the market themselves, selling school-grown fruits, herbs, veggies, and crafts to the public. Contributions are then reinvested back into the school’s garden programs. The market is held every fall and spring.

Green Our Planet will host this event with support from Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Bank of Nevada, Clark County School District, United Way of Southern Nevada and Sprouts.
