On January 9, 2026, Titus addressed her concerns about U.S. pipeline safety in relation to international oil infrastructure projects. Titus also announced legislative progress benefiting her district. Titus has served as Nevada’s representative in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Shelley Berkley and previously held office in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. Born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and now residing in Las Vegas at age 72, Titus earned her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary in 1970.
