Dina Titus, U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, highlighted her recent initiatives and achievements in a series of posts on March 10, 2026.

In her first post, Titus paid tribute to Harriet Tubman, stating on March 10, 2026: “As an abolitionist and advocate for women’s suffrage, Harriet Tubman selflessly led so many others to freedom. Today we honor her bravery and legacy.”

Later that day, she acknowledged her environmental efforts by announcing a distinction from Defenders of Wildlife. On March 10, 2026, she wrote: “I am proud to receive a perfect score on the @Defenders’s 2025 conservation report card. I will continue protecting treasured species and the habitats they depend on for survival #OnlyInDistrictOne and beyond.”

Titus also reported securing federal funds for infrastructure improvements in Boulder City. On March 10, 2026, she posted: “I secured $980,000 for upgrades @BoulderCityNev’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. This funding will be used to expand the treatment capacity of existing wastewater facilities while improving their safety and reliability. This is a critical investment in the water security of the”

Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013 and previously served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. She was born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Titus earned her BA from the College of William & Mary in 1970.
