Dina Titus, U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, has used her social media platform to criticize recent Republican budget proposals and statements from the President. In a series of posts on February 25, 2026, Titus expressed concern about the impact of federal policy changes on low-income Americans and Nevadans in particular.

Dina Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013 and previously served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. She was born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Titus holds a BA from the College of William & Mary.
